Abortion Recovery Specialists 1985 - 2007, Victims Of Choice offers a unique, one-to-one, therapy model from a Christian perspective addressing guilt, shame, and unresolved grief following abortion.

Often, abortion is the only 'choice' we are given. We felt, and were sometimes told, we would be abandoned if we did not "choose" abortion.
We were lead to believe we could not be pregnant.
Our feelings toward motherhood were minimized, we were told our education and careers were more important than children.
At a time when we were most vulnerable we may have thought a relationship was more valuable than the life of our unborn childs'.
We were not told there could be emotional, spiritual and mental pain - even years later.
We were not told or made to understand exactly what abortion was and what it would do to our pregnancy or us. We were not told relationships often did not survive an abortion. Many of us were lied to when we asked, "Is it a baby?" We were told, "No, it is only a blob of cells."
We were assured it would be "a quick, ten minute procedure and you will get on with your life as though nothing has happened." Yet, we were not able to 'get on with' our lives because something very painful had happened. We soon lost the one for whom we were aborting -- leaving wounds that have not yet healed.
As long as women feel victimized by abortion 'someone' needs to meet them where they are in order to take them to a place where they can grieve their losses, identify hurts, understand negative after-abortion response, extend forgiveness to those involved and accept God's forgiveness for themselves.
